The Founders

Founded in 2000 by Mark and Aron Jaszberenyi, pioneers of non-linear DI color grading, Colorfront combines deep expertise in color science with advanced software development. The company's R&D team received an Academy Award in 2010 for Lustre, Autodesk's DI grading system, and a Primetime Engineering Emmy in 2012 for Colorfront On-Set Dailies.
Bill Feightner
Bill Feightner is a celebrated image-science expert and the Chief Technology Officer at Colorfront, where he leads the development of innovative tools and consulting services in digital motion picture film image science. With over 35 years of industry experience, Bill has been instrumental in pioneering file-based workflows and the Digital Intermediate process, significantly shaping Hollywood’s digital cinema landscape. His groundbreaking work has earned him numerous accolades—including the prestigious Technicolor/Herbert T. Kalmus Medal, an Academy technical achievement award, and an Emmy Award—underscoring his enduring impact on high-end image processing and on-set production technologies.

Today, Colorfront is celebrated for the innovation, excellence, and performance of its camera-to-post products, including On-Set Dailies, Express Dailies, and Transkoder.

Leveraging its technology, the company has expanded into Colorfront Cloud Services and operates a state-of-the-art DI and post-production facility in Budapest.
